I am proud to say that Tandem Brick Gallery has been located at 2722 Ingersoll Ave. since 1977 when it was founded. We have made many changes over the years as we have strived to keep Tandem Brick fresh and exciting.

Tandem Brick began as a custom picture frame shop with only a small gallery space to exhibit Iowa artists’ works. All of these years later, our gallery space has expanded to over half of our store.

Tandem Brick Gallery now features outstanding Des Moines area artists, unique gifts, affordable jewelry, and cards for all occasions. Driving down Ingersoll at night, and you will see our signature handmade paper Starlightz illuminating throughout the store.

Our custom framing department is superb. With hundreds of frame and mat samples to choose from, state of the art equipment, and archival materials to preserve your work, our experienced framers will more than meet your framing expectations.
